Multiple Gmail accounts - Why? Too much trouble! There's an easier way.
I've heard it mentioned by several people, just this past week, that they have and maintain several gmail accounts. This practice can get complicated and time consuming in a hurry. They don't exactly make it easy or straightforward, either; there are some people that are actually offering, as a service, to setup multiple accounts for you, for a small price.
Rather than creating another gmail account: Gmail doesn't offer traditional aliases, but you can receive messages sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. For example, messages sent to email@example.com are delivered to firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can set up filters to automatically direct these messages to Trash, apply a label or star, skip the inbox, or forward to another email account.
This certainly seems like a much better alternative, and keeps things simple, and in one place, saving time as well.
